My mom had a birthday this week. She is an amazing cook and has an unbelievably green thumb. Let's take a stroll through her garden, shall we?...
Cooking and gardening are her two big passions and she does them both oh-so-well. I, unfortunately, did not inherit either of those talents. However, I did draw from them (no pun intended) to deliver some handmade goodies for my Mom for her birthday. I created some new illustrated recipe cards...
My mom said..."Lori, you must sell these in your Etsy store!" And, because I'm a good girl, and always do what my mommy tells me to (wink wink), they have just been listed in the shop! Go get 'em!
I also made her a painting to put in her amazing garden. It's clear coated and can be "planted" in a flower bed and leaned against a wall.
Thus begins the big cluster of family birthdays over the next month. I hope I can keep up with all the handmade stuff! There's lots going on in the studio, friends. And...I'll have a fun announcement tomorrow about a new project i'm working on. See you then!
I love the recipe cards and the sign is adorable. I think I am going to have to wonder over to your store and get a set!

Lori,
I will sell those at Westwood Paper...people are always asking for recipe cards. Why not try to sell some of your stuff in Carmel? Everyone loves your paintings and plates...let's add more.

Great gifts! Love the sign, especially the shape and of course the hearts. Hope you had a wonderful day celebrating!
