Look what the mailman delivered yesterday:
It's the whimsy studios stamps! I am so excited! They are just so pretty...i'm not talking about the illustrations...i'm talking about the packaging! Amy, you did such a good job! Don't they look so cute all dressed up in their little packages?! They're so cute, i don't want to open them...but i do...but i don't...but i do because i want to give one a try. Ok, you twisted my arm...let's have a little looky loo...
They are clear stamps...you just peel them off the card they are on...they're super flexible.
To use them, you need an acrylic mounting block (purchased separately).
You place the stamp on the block and stamp away...no adhesive necessary...just peel and stick. The advantage of the clear stamps are that they allow you to see through the design for easy placement.
However, stamping enthusiasts, have no fear...the next batch of my stamps (Valentines Day and more!) will be in traditional rubber stamp form. Amy says the clear stamps are selling, but she is being overwhelmed by people wanting them in rubber, too.
What a thrill...I am just so proud to see my little illustrations grow up to be happy stamps. I know I sound goofy, but truly, this is a little dream come true...to have my artwork licensed for such a great product. I'm a happy girl! So, if you are a stamper, and you find yourself shopping at pinkpaperystudios and buying my stamps...do me a favor and send me some pictures of whatever you create with them...I'd love to see them and share them here at fresh picked whimsy!
HOW FRICKIN' AWESOME!! I am going to buy some. Problem is that are all too cute. Now I have to choose!!!
