The silhouettes are done! I'm really happy with how they turned out. I took that picture above from outside last night and here's one that i took this morning from inside:
I still want to hang a white sheet behind her at night. I thought I had one, but it was too small, so i will make a trip to Goodwill this weekend to find something.
Hobby Lobby didn't have black paper on a large roll, so i just used black poster board. It worked really well. It was really very simple. After I sized my window up, I drew her out using chalk. Then, I cut her out and taped her to the window using packing tape.
I did the same thing to make the bats and the crows. My hands were killing me when I was done, but it was worth it, I think.
The kids and I had fun "recycling" the scraps of black paper!
Your decorations look great Lori! I can sympathize with you about the sore hands. It seems I've been painting either walls or furniture for the past 2 months and I seem to have developed "perma hand cramp". Oh well, as long as we get the projects done, right?!

These are great!! did you use a pattern? or are you just that talented to draw it freehand?? Just awesome. I'd like to do those since I can't afford real decorations!! hahaha.
Thanks!!

Thanks, girls. Yes, i did do it freehand, but you could probably find clip art for birds and bats online and just blow them up on your computer to make the silhouettes. :-)

I love it. Your witch is ADORABLE! I wish could draw. My brother is the artist of the family.
I'll have to attempt to do something like yours for my Halloween party.
