My cousin posted some beautiful photos of plants and flowers in her yard on her blog recently. They were stunning. You can see them here. Our yard is more of a work in progress. Actually, we have really neglected it so far this season. Between my husband's allergies and a very tight household budget, the yard is quite low on the list of priorities. You can really drop a bundle on fertilizer, seed, annuals and mulch! We did have the pleasure of oodles of gorgeous daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips this spring. But, the spring rain has produced more weeds than ever before. I believe i know how i will be spending my mother's day weekend...in the neglected yard! So, i decided i would take some photos of the weeds that are a thorn in my side as i look out the window. If you take a closer look, they are really quite beautiful. Mind you, it won't stop me from plucking them from the beds and lawn, but i thought i would stop and smell the weeds before I dig them up.
I'm with you sister... Take some pictures (because they are amazing works of art/nature) then pull them out! One of my least favorite yard work projects. Thanks for the plug!

Yes, weeds can be a huge pain-in-the-yard, but some are quite beautiful. I always joke with my wife that I am going to start the first* weed botanical garden. Some have really nice flowers, and grouped correctly, would make a nice display! But, like you, it doesn't keep me from pulling them up at first sight.
*I've never heard of one anywhere!

Tom, The problem would be that no matter how you intend to group them, they will multiply and spread all over the place! Ugh!
