Fourteen years ago today, she came into our lives.
Life with K is fun, joyful, sweet and just lovely.
But, it goes much too quickly. The photo above is K on her first birthday. This was a very common expression for her. Oh, i just want to squeeze those little chubby arms! It seems like it was yesterday. This little girl will start high school in the fall. I can't believe that's possible. The photo below is K this morning getting ready to break through her bedroom door b-day streamers (a family tradition).
And, no, i didn't forget... it is Yellow Monday. Two photos for you today. The first was taken last week at the ballpark:
The second photo is G working with play-doh. He called me over to the table to show me what he made:
If you can't make it out...he used a toothpick to write "mom I love you".
Life is good.
Yes, the years do go by too fast. My son turned 7 Friday, and it is hard to believe he is that old already! My wife and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in July! Ahhhh! Where does the time go. I feel like we just met (13 yrs ago), and now we have a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old!

14 years and now in high school. Ok, now I feel old. She's still adorable though.
Ah well, back to abusing customers

p.s. I'll try to bring her present by this weekend after I more fully heal (please don't ask, I forgot I wasn't 14 myself and did something I am now paying for with near immobility :P)

Happy B-day to your girly! And I love your birthday streamer tradition. I may have to steal that idea. My youngest will be 6 on the 23rd. YIKES! Happy Tuesday to ya!
Oh, I loved the little marathon card you posted too. You are so talented.
