I spent the day today at G's school painting scenery for the school play. Mark, the kids, and my 2 nephews came with me. K and a couple of her friends needed some community service hours for National Jr. Honor Society, so i put them to work. The boys ran around the gym while we painted. Each character is actually about 5 feet tall and painted on some stacked refrigerator boxes. It took all day, but we finished. With my crazy schedule right now, i wasn't sure i could find time to do it again this year. But, when the music teacher told me that this year's musical was "Schoolhouse Rock", i just had to do it. I grew up watching Schoolhouse Rock every Saturday morning and LOVED it!!!!! So, we had fun today painting together.
