More adventures from the greatest neighborhood on earth.
Do you remember that photo of our neighbor Stacey, when she was a little girl, from our neighborhood Christmas party? Yup...I brought it back. Because it's just that awesome.
Sometimes MF is a last minute call, but sometimes we know a couple days in advance. Everyone in the hood has a little more pep in their step when they know a MF is coming up...
That is one happy, summery, Margarita Friday Costco shopping cart...
MF is a pretty laid back affair...it's a come as you are...bring what's in your fridge...and don't forget a chair kinda thing.
It's always in a different yard or driveway...somewhere the kiddos can ride their bikes and scooters, or swing or swim.
The mamas gather first and our hubs join us as they get home from work.
But, this is more than a just a party. This is home. And these are our people. They are the people who will drop everything to help you when you need them. They care about your kids, your parents, your job, your dog. They watch your house, lend you some sugar, make you a dinner when you're sick, recuperating or grieving, celebrate with you and cry with you. They are the best neighbors in the whole wide world. And we have a pact that we nobody is allowed to move.
