well, now, that's more like it! Last Tuesday's Open House/Trunk Show was a great success! Phew! Big thanks to all who came out to see Joy and I. And...a huge thank you to Mimi, Melanie, Melissa and Carolyn who helped us put the whole thing together! It was at Michelle's gorgeous home...everything was gorgeous and festive and lovely. I wish i had thought to take more pics of the actual space we were in. So cozy and warm.
I think i was most excited for everyone to see Joy's work. It was her debut and she was very nervous. But, everyone loved it and it was a successful night for her and i think maybe, she's ready to open an etsy store! In the meantime, if you see something you like, you can email Joy at email@example.com!
Her medium is cut paper...all of her works are made up of tiny pieces of hand cut paper. Amazing! She sells them as individual prints but also puts them into these awesome salvaged windows. So cool!
Can't you just see these on your Thanksgiving table or as a centerpiece at a party? Isn't she amazing? My friends are so talented!!! You can reach Jane here. Go ahead...you know you want them! Of course, she also brought a basket full of goodies for the kiddos that came. Cutie pie, Ryan, got first dibs!
Such a fun day and night...meeting new people, seeing old friends and hanging out with my favorite girls. It was also a great dry run for the new credit card processor, the new framed prints and steady traffic. Less than three weeks until Holiday Mart! Eek! Apologies for the sporadic blogging. The studio is more like Santa's worshop a week before Christmas these days! busy, busy, busy! I'll keep checking in, i promise! Thanks, friends!
